Driving through the city, James takes the 1961 Mini on its maiden voyage. Joel's subaru hood is visible as pictures are taken out the sun roof.
A second look at the Mini from behind. At this point it has been driven about 3 blocks downhill.
Upon closer examination of the Mini it can be determined that it is a 'convertible' of an extreme sort. The roof is in the boot. James waves hi.
At this stage the car's road-worthiness was untested and Joel followed James closely. James looks worried in this shot.
Doing loops in the city to get to a gas station
At the gas station we check oil, water, and gas. All is well but all 3 items are low
One two-hour ride down skyline later, James arrives at Joel and Cathi's house in Soquel. The Mini had absolutely not issues during the ride.
