SANTA CRUZ RALLY

Join us for the third year of
unusual bikes, great food, and fun bike-related contests
in sunny Santa Cruz. Admission is free and participants
are encouraged to bring a wide assortment of motorcycles
and scooters. More details will be posted to this location
as they are determined.
Information on Hotels, Camping, Dining, etc.
Events will include:
- Friday, May 16th, 7:00 PM
Coffee social
Riders are welcome to partake of great coffee,
snacks, etc. and talk motorcycling.
Cafe Pergolesi, 418 Cedar St., Santa Cruz
- Friday, May 16th, 9:00 PM
Evening ride
leaves the Cafe Pergolesi at 9:00 and will progress along
Westcliff Drive overlooking the ocean.
- Saturday, May 17th, 10:30 AM
Rally and prize event.
Meet at the National Guard Armory
on Branciforte at 10:30 or
meet at the Cafe Pergolesi at 10:00 for a ride to the Armory.
Various contests will be held and prizes awarded
for best cycle,
rat bike, furthest travelled, etc. Raffles, unusual motorcycles,
and preparations for the Poker Ride.
Refreshments will be available.
- Saturday, May 17th, 2:30 PM
Afternoon Poker Ride
Beginning at the Armory -- ride to 5 undisclosed locations to pick
up your 5 cards (creating a full poker hand). Visit particularly
scenic and important areas of Santa Cruz. Prizes will be awarded
to best poker hand, etc. Riders will return to the Armory with
the poker hands for a prize event.
- Saturday, May 17th, 7:30 PM
After dinner party at Bocci's Cellar
Party for the evening with music, prize presentations,
and a no-host bar. Raffle winners will be
announced as will the winners of the contests earlier in
the day. Some awards will be given and we expect this
year's party to be even more fun than last years!

Gather for coffee and ride to BBQ site
Leave the Cafe Pergolesi at 418 Cedar and ride
as a pack through the mountains
to the BBQ site (S.C. Harvey West Park*).
- Sunday, May 18th, 1:00 PM
BBQ and picnic.
At Harvey West*. Good food and interesting
people with motorcycles and scooters.
Prizes will be awarded for:
- Furthest travelled
- Rat bike
- Oddest cycle
- Best Scooter
- Best Motorcycle
- Best dressed
- and more!

- Feats of skill and coordination on scooters
- Feats of skill and coordination on motorcycles
- 50-50 Raffle
- Raffle for prizes from local donators
- Whatever else we can think of!
