Thank you Harley-Davidson of Santa Cruz!
On June 25th Harley-Davidson of Santa Cruz held a special open-house/demo event for the Vampires and invited
us to come down and ride the awesome new Buells that they had in stock.
Not only did Rich (the man in charge at HDSC) supply us with pizza and soft-drinks, he also
supplied us with four awesome machines... an S3 Thunderbolt, an S1 Lightening, an M2 Cyclone, and a
trick Sportster with Buell-engineered Harley powerplant and Vance&Hines pipes.
What more could a ride want?
So we rode 'em, of course, after a short break to fill out the paperwork. Excellent stuff! The consensus was that
the bikes were all pretty cool (with the Sportster being overly vibration-oriented) and
we particularly liked how easily the front wheels seemed to lift off of the ground!
