We're AMA-chartered now
The Santa Cruz Vampires Motorcycle and Scooter Club,
Inc. is an
AMA-chartered club. We decided to become AMA-chartered because
of some of the benefits the AMA offers to its clubs, chief
among which is inexpensive insurance for our rallies and gatherings.
The AMA exists to fight for the rights of motorcyclists but
also has a cool Historic Motorcycle Museum, sponsors race
events, and has bike giveaways. Other benefits of joining the AMA include:
- Listing of club and events in the AMA magazine
- Access to AMA racing events and some discounts
- Votes to elect AMA Congress members
